The Appointment

The news today was good and also disappointing to some extent.
The cardiologist said that according to his listen to his heart, his vitals and his EKG, no one would ever know there was a concern. But
But can surely be a mighty big word.
He can't shed that vest until an echocardiogram and he can't have that for seven more weeks.  No driving and all that entails, along with the general uncomfortableness of it, and the fact that I will be back at work long before then.  If in seven weeks his ejection fraction is still less than 30, he will have to have an internal defibrillator.
The Doc isn't ready for any of the support meds to come off, in fact he is increasing one to lower his blood pressure and heart rate even more.  I didn't really understand that with such good vital signs,  but he says they are great vitals for a healthy heart, but he wants a recovering heart to work less.
So looks like a twelve week recovery for sure.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
We will recover on.
