Tee Shirt Playdate

It was soooo hot today, but that never seems to slow our people down even a little.  We painted shirts, had popsicles with our story and snacks, and spent a long time in the creek before lots of spaghetti. Pap and I are about worn out.
Rae arrived with warm sour dough bread and flowers she's grown, mostly from seed.  The way to my heart. That bread, oh my.
Bean probably spent two hours on the porch looking through all Pap's fishing stuff.
They enjoy this shirt making every year. So many colors and no two even come close to being alike.

God love this child, Miss Linee pushed these littles around the yard all day.
 Storytime, my favorite.

Finally, on this sweltering day, the cold creek, where smiles abound!

This was the first day for mining for fossils, the water has been so high all summer.

Long after everyone had finished using leaves as templates and spray painting their shirts, my little artist wanted to do some work free hand with a different kind of fabric paint Ceece found.

While we all ate our fill of spaghetti and cheesy garlic rolls, the Captain did the weedeating and was soaked with sweat, then Drummer Boy came and finished the mowing.
Time for rest.
