Appointment 4

Today was our last appointment for the week with the kidney specialist's NP.  He said he was sorry he had us come in for nothing.  The medical doctor ordered a new panel of blood work on Wednesday. I was glad. I wanted to see for myself that things were improving in a clinical sense.  This NP today had those results and they were good.  Kidney function numbers headed down, hemoglobin heading up- in fact a big jump in blood, not normal yet, but much bigger jump than the first week we were home and he is feeling it.
Next we went by work and this time he got an opportunity to talk to someone.  Hopefully something will work out where he can return to light duty in a few weeks.  Since that is what he hopes to do, we were both interested in keeping him on the radar during this big work transition with new owners.
So, keep praying about plans and asking for some Divine Intervention of the best course for Handy Man.

Saying a big Thank you Lord and thank you friends for the gifts of gas and groceries.

As I've often experienced, we received no call of  the appointments for the stress test and echo that the cardiologist ordered on Tuesday.  I contacted AngelCakes today and will be calling the office first thing Monday.

I went to work early this morning to work on a little garden I've started for my students at school, only to find the lawn people weedeated most of it down.  Oh my.
My nervous energy is now divided between a brand new grade that needs a fun classroom and a plan in three weeks, and just trying to be on top of all things Handy Man
.
Today a friend is bringing by some ribs, yummo.

Tomorrow Handy Man will have a family day while I do an online class ( one I had signed up and paid for before knowing this next bit of news).
So lots of happy results this week.  I finally received notification that my license was ready to print.  I might have shouted out loud when I noticed the date of expiration 2029 in stead of 2024 that I expected- woo hoo, no more professional development stress for me!  Thank you Lord!
