A Misty Morning

The forecast called for pop-up storms and a 60 percent chance of rain.  Not the best scenario for our first summer playdate, but the weather is so fickle here, I seldom let it change my plans.
Sure enough, it was a bit misty and damp when I woke up, but it turned out to be the only rain we had for the day.
I filled the little pools and water table and Giddy-up was here by 9:30.  Wee folk came in and out throughout the day until playdate was done by 8:00 pm.

Flights went in and out on schedule-

Artists were in residence-

 The military was geared up and ready for any enemies-

The beach was open-

 The Hunters and Gatherers were out in mass-

 Hauling in berries-

 panning for gold-

 supplying seafood-

along with snake skins, baseballs and golfballs.

Divas took over the tree fort, much to the chagrin of the military

And no end of silliness.
